Starting my research on mental health I dived deeper into the topic of insecurities which led me to my personal insecurities, mainly about my teeth, which were very asymmetrical, and my face which is also asymmetrical. I observed this behavior in society where symmetry equals beauty, accuracy, perfection, an “obsession” with the idea of it.

symmetry is perceived as beauty and perfection which gave origin to an unreachable standard that society constantly makes you want to fit in.
We have been told that asymmetry is odd and symmetry is beauty, for that reason I want to explore and demonstrate the beauty in asymmetry.
Beauty is claimed to be only found in symmetry and I want to shift that thought.
